📙 Wild Goose Chase: Rediscover the Adventure of Pursuing God by Mark Batterson, narrator Mark Batterson

4.6

Most of us have no idea where we're going most of the time. Perfect. "Celtic Christians had a name for the Holy Spirit - An Geadh-Glas, or 'the Wild Goose.' The name hints at mystery. Much like a wild goose, the Spirit of God cannot be tracked or tamed. An element of danger, an air of unpredictability surround Him. And while the name may sound a little sacrilegious, I cannot think of a better description of what it's like to follow the Spirit through life. I think the Celtic Christians were on to something. ©2008 Mark Batterson; (P)2008 christianaudio.com

"Life-changing"

This book came at the perfect time! It confirmed the passion to be a risk taker in my walk with God. I had recovered from an illness that required medical leave. During my leave, I had a lot of time to process my life prior and assess what was good and was great! This gave me focus to push ahead and allow God to take me on a Wild Goose Chase. So far...no regrets!

Very inspiring and motivating. Many of the things said helped put parts of my husbands and my life as founders of a para church organization into perspective and rekindled the passion and drive to continue even when the going is tough.
